Despite only being 37, has a 20 year proven track record as one of the most knowlegeable and respected chandlers in the UK. After heading the management buyout in 2003 with John and Ricki, MSS and their team have continued to flourish with Michael being at the operational helm. In charge of the overall day to day running of the business and overseeing all quotation and purchasing departments. Instilled in him from a young age, the need for quality and service is at the forefront of all all the company's operations, and while he respects the true historical meaning of a ships-chander, understands totally the future and modern approach to ship-supply.

Ulfar Norddahl
Sales Director
Ulfar started his illustrious career working in ship broking, ships agency, chartering, ship management and operations in Denmark, Germany and England. Having worked in the ship supply industry for many years he has a vast knowledge and expertise in all areas of the business. His main role is Sales and Marketing. Outside work Ulfar helps the Nordic shipping community being an active member of LINC the Liverpool International Nordic Community Church, where he is a trustee. The Nordic church caters for the cultural needs of the Nordic community, which include Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland and Iceland.

John Evans
Logistics Director

Started in Ships Stores in 1987, working in the warehouse of an old established Ships Stores based in South Wales. Made a Director in 1990, in charge of all Logistics, stock levels and general running of the warehouse. Ran the Swansea depot, which covered South Wales, Avonmouth, Southampton and London ports. Moved to the Merseyside operation in 1991 but as a Welshman, still lives in North Wales! Is part owner of the company along with Mike and Ricki. John is in overall charge of Logistics for all the depots in the company, plus the warehouses.

Ricki Grigor
Financial Director

Started in Ship Stores in 1986, in the accounts and administration department of the same old established Ships Stores in South Wales as John. Made a Director in 1988. Worked in the Cardiff, Swansea and Hull depots, in overall charge of all accounts and administration plus the Bonded Stores. In 1989 was also working in Merseyside, moving permanently up to North Wales in 1991. Is part owner of the company along with Mike and John. Ricki is responsible for the Finances and administration of the company, as well as being Company Secretary and having overall charge of the Bonded Stores, etc.

Assistant Operations Manager
Joining the team at MSS in 2005 from a retail management career, Nicola is fundamental is the operations management of the company. Nicola's key role is the management and dealing with all customers to ensure quality and service of the highest levels are achieved.
